Selected systems built by our founders

Proof that better systems change the work.

MatterBuilt is new. Our operating experience is not. These examples show how our founders have turned legal analysis, client capture, and repetitive operations into systems people can actually use.

Legal workflow · Built and demonstrable

California Commercial Lease Compliance Copilot

A four-hour review reduced to approximately twelve minutes.

Built by Jillian for legal work, this browser-based system parses a commercial lease locally, checks it against more than twenty California statutory requirements, prioritizes issues, and prepares an attorney-grade redline, a plain-English client summary, and a team update. Its client-side architecture was designed to keep lease text out of the application server.

Regulation A · Private founder-built system

Form 1-A Drafting System

A structured drafting process designed to reduce avoidable SEC comment cycles.

Built jointly by Jillian and Adam, this private system combines selected precedent Form 1-A filings, proprietary drafting logic, structured client information, and attorney-provided legal and deal data to assemble a Regulation A offering statement. It is designed to improve completeness and consistency before filing while preserving attorney review, judgment, and control throughout the process.

Client capture · Live in production

Inquiry-to-Delivery Operating Stack

A connected journey from first inquiry through post-service follow-up.

Built for Oasis Monte Y Mar, the system coordinates inquiry capture, AI-assisted qualification, tour scheduling, contracts, event production, and follow-up. It demonstrates the same operating principle MatterBuilt brings to law firms: the client should move through a designed journey rather than depend on someone remembering the next step.

PPM & Operating Agreement Portal

One structured workflow for connected Reg D offering documents.

Designed by Jillian for Reg D 506(b) and 506(c) offerings, this two-tier portal treats the operating agreement as the source of truth and derives the private placement memorandum from it. Structured intake, controlled templates, and AI-assisted narrative generation are designed to reduce repetitive drafting while preserving consistency and attorney oversight. The model includes a self-service tier for sophisticated issuers and a white-label tier for law firms serving their own clients.
